Could you give us a timeframe of the first meaningful contribution to this firm?
The meanings of job changes differ as the increase in the hierarchy. While a person hired in the production department would be hired to fill in a gap in the production, a CEO is hired to run the company and lead it into the future. In fact, the game plan for the CEO will decide the game plan for all the other employees. This is the reason that the interviewer asks this question.

One should make sure that the answer given to this question is logical and practical. Make sure that you know about the company before you attend the interview. The answer to this question depends on various factors that you cannot change, like internal strife, politics, etc.

Therefore, the only logical answer to this question would be that you can get a clearer picture only after you come on board; however, they are free to have a look at your work experience in the previous companies or company.

How long would you stay with us?
The amount of time that an employee stays with an employer depends on various factors. For example, an employee remains with the only till he or she is confident and satisfied with their growth, and an employer wishes the employee to stay with them as long as they are sure that the employer is productive and profitable.
The only answer, therefore, to this question is that you are looking for a long and productive career with the company. You would also have to reiterate that you have chosen to work with the company for various reasons like the name of the company, the quality that the company stands for in the market as well as the future that the company hints at.

Your resume suggests that you may be over-qualified or too experienced for this position. What’s your opinion?
While answering this question, the best way is to speak about your wish to have a long working experience with the company. It is also suggested that you speak about your qualifications and experience that would create new vistas for the company. Also, observe that a company with a vast business would always want well qualified and strong staff, in a bid to increase their market presence.

What is the most important aspect for you to join a company?
This is more of a social question as compared to a professional question. Remember, that as a CEO, you are the leader of an organization and a public face. Your responsibilities and abilities will highlight and will be a back or forth benchmark for the responsibilities of the other employees of the company.

Therefore, you have to make sure that you send across the point that you wish to work for a company that is forward looking, substantially growing as well as committed towards offering their employees a better place to work in and their product partners a better product to offer.

How successful you’ve been so far?

Being quite confidence and presenting a positive/realistic picture of your success stories are the best bet to answer this question. You may state that you’re satisfied with your career and the way it has been progressed according to your plans. However, do not boast your answer.
