Bad decisions and life go hand in hand. There are several instances in professional and personal life where a person takes a bad decision and then regrets it for the rest of his/her life.
Sometimes, people take up some jobs which they begin to hate after a while. If you have been looking out for ways to skip work almost every day, or if you often do not feel like waking up and going to work, it is time for you to ask yourself the question - do I hate my job?
If you are asking yourself this question, it is time for you to take the following tips:

What to Do When You Hate Your Job (or your boss)?
Find out why you hate your job
There are some people who simply hate working, and then there are some people who hate particular jobs.
Before you decide that you hate your boss and/or your job, make sure to sit down and decipher why do you really hate your job. There can be many reasons for you hating jobs, right from no appraisals, to no recognition to bad coffee in the workplace. Make sure that you pin point to yourself the real reason for hating the job.
For example – researches show that the #1 solid reason people start thinking of leaving jobs is getting away from ‘bad’ bosses, especially direct managers who are seen as blocking career advancement and job achievements.
Those bosses who do not listen, delegate assignments and provide feedback increase their employees’ dissatisfaction that start thinking – “give me a chance to advance, learn, grow and notice me when I do that”.

Speak to your superiors
One of the first and best things that you can do if you hate your boss and your job is to speak with your superiors or your Human Resource Officer, so that they get a clear picture of why you are disappointed or what you think is lacking in your current job.
Of course, you cannot badmouth your direct superior or even the boss of the company, but you should try to inform them about what are not comfortable with in the most tactful and diplomatic way.
Discuss it with your Peers
Remember that your peers are suffering the same fate that you are, and there must be something that keeps them ticking on the job – it could be anything – a good appraisal, good medical benefits, it could even be the best food in the corporate world.
Therefore, you should try to speak to them and find out anything that you do not know. If you are new to the company, there are chances that you might not know something that they might know – so find that out first.
Start looking for a new Job
If you hate your job, and are working in a non managerial position, you can be almost certain that you are not going to change anything in the workplace, and that nothing is going to change in the workplace because of you.
Therefore, the best bet is to look for another job or even another career. Of course, while looking for another job, you should ensure that you do not commit the same mistakes that you did while looking and agreeing to work for your current job.
